Message from the Executive Director

We have just concluded our 2026 GAPT Summer Conference and Trade Show, and what an incredible event it was. The strong attendance, outstanding educational sessions, engaged vendor partners, and enthusiastic participation from our members made this year's conference a tremendous success.

As one year ends, another begins. With our newly elected Executive Board now in place, we are already focused on the opportunities that lie ahead in 2027. Planning is underway for our upcoming conferences and trade shows, and we are excited about expanding the professional development opportunities available to our members through the Southeastern Pupil Transportation Academy and other initiatives.

Our 2027 event dates have been established, and conversations have already begun about new programs, enhanced training opportunities, and exciting additions designed to provide even greater value to our members and industry partners. The future of GAPT is bright, and we remain committed to supporting the professionals who safely transport Georgia's students each day.
